Founded by my father, O’Donnell Tiedemann as an advertising specialty distributorship with the primary focus of offering promotional items to businesses and organizations looking to promote their company identity and brand awareness.

Purchased equipment and began to manufacture rubber stamps. This includes both self-inking and traditional wood handle styles. Notary Seals and Embossers were also added to the products offered.

I became involved with the company on a part-time basis, learning the business from my father. We offered custom printed apparel as part of our product offering; however the production side was outsourced to a contract printer.   After some discussion and consideration, we decided to purchase our own equipment and bring the production in-house.

As the printing side of the business continued to grow, we decided it was time for me to concentrate my efforts on a full-time basis. I took full control of the day to day operations, leaving my father more time to chase “little white balls” on “beautiful green landscapes” and less time guiding and mentoring.

Bittersweet is the only way to describe the next chapter. In the spring, my father offered to sell me full controlling interest in the business…and I accepted.  That summer…he passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly.  Although it was a devastating loss, I persevered…and pushed forward. I may have lost my father, my mentor, my hero…but I’ve never lost the feeling and inspiration of his spirit…it guides me.

That fall, after a lot of research and preparation, I decided to move to the next level on printing side of the business and purchase an 8-color automatic screen printing press.  This addition has made a significant change to our production capabilities and efficiency.
